“I had an incredible experience at Power Yoga Works in their teacher training program. All of the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I feel that we achieved all of the objectives set forth for the training, and I left knowing that I could successfully lead multiple yoga classes.
I would absolutely recommend this program to any one looking to go through teacher training. Not only did I receive my certificate but I really feel like Bill and his team were there all the way with their assistance and knowledge. It has been my experience that Power Yoga Works is one of the few true yoga studios in the tri-state area offering great teachers, an awesome Philadelphia yoga teacher training and a transformational experience. I could not say enough about what a great experience it was. Bill and his instructors are extremely knowledgeable, qualified, and dedicated.”

“For me, the PYW 200-hour yoga teacher training program was a wonderful and empowering experience. Being naturally introverted, I was admittedly nervous to get up in front of the group and teach when I first started the program; however, Bill’s gentle encouragement and seemingly endless wealth of knowledge gave me the confidence I needed. Shortly after graduating from the program, I began teaching at several fitness centers in the Philadelphia area. I highly recommend the program for its emphasis on cultivating the skills necessary to be a safe, effective, and motivational yoga instructor.”
– Caitlin Baiduc, RYT200
“I completed my RYT yoga teacher training at Power Yoga Works because I wanted a program that was personalized, accredited by the Yoga Alliance, affordable, inspirational, and empowering.
Participating in PYW’s teacher training enabled me to deepen my own personal yoga practice and expand my leadership skills as a yoga teacher to better meet my students’, clients’, and community’s needs. Each class in Bill’s teacher training is inspirational and transformative, and grounded in a great mix of instruction and hands-on practice. As part of the program, Bill provided a comprehensive manual that detailed each pose; this manual is one of my go-to resources for designing classes. The quality of Bill’s individual and small group instruction was invaluable throughout the teacher training, and Bill and the PYW team continue to mentor and inspire me!”

“As I recently completed the Power Yoga Works yoga teacher training pa, I have learned so much more than I ever expected. Just the breathing alone has helped me control my balance and focus while calming my whole body at the same time. Inhaling and exhaling at a consistent pace has controlled my movements and kept me balanced throughout each sequence.
The breathing exercises have helped me control my heart rate, learn more self-awareness and build a close connection with my body. Now, I am able to tune in with myself, get grounded and focus on building a more stable and positive connection. Learning the material in each section of the teacher training has expanded my horizon and opened my mind to a more focused and disciplined life. Specifically power yoga has toned my body and taught me that with the connection between my mind and body, I can oversee anything and achieve my goals in a more structured manner. Power Yoga Works is a one of kind training that you do not want to miss. I not only understand the positive aspects of yoga, but also enjoy teaching others ways to feel better about themselves both inside and out.”– Keri Meyer, RYT200
“I would recommend Power Yoga Works to anyone looking for a thorough yoga education and challenging class. Since having moved out of the area, I’ve had a hard time finding a studio that was comparable! Power Yoga Works was an outstanding experience that made me feel confident about my teaching skills.” – Alyssa L., RYT200, 2015 Graduate
“Bill is am amazing teacher. I look forward to continuing to learn from him, and would recommend his studio and/or training program to anyone. Honestly the best. I can tell that he really loves what he does and cares for his students.– Katie H., RYT200, 2015 Graduate
“AMAZING! PowerYogaWorks was a warm and nurturing environment to learn how to be a mindful yoga instructor. Bill Raup at the Chester County yoga studio was a wealth of knowledge who kept a watchful eye on his students. He provided us with an excellent manual that clearly spelled out proper alignment for yoga asanas. The manual also contained the Sanskrit names of all of the asanas covered in the training. In addition to the didactic learning Bill personally watched me as I “hands on” assisted other students into proper alignment for yoga asanas. After completing the training I immediately began teaching yoga and felt comfortable and confident. The schooling was not easy, it did challenge my body and mind. The training changed my life for the better and I am so very thankful! Namaste!” – Shari B., RYT200, 2014 Graduate
“This Chester County yoga teacher training program was a wonderful place to get my yoga certification! Bill Raup’s thoughtful approach to engage students in a comfortable setting to explore ways to teach yoga effectively and safely for new and experienced yogis was an eye opening experience. “I was able to start taking classes at PYW before I started the yoga teacher training in Chester County. Bill is one of the best and one of my favorite yoga instructors that I’ve ever taken a class from. I knew that just from taking his class, I would be able to listen to him and let him guide me through my journey on becoming an RYT. I could email him any questions, any hour of the day and he would respond back to me within 24-hours. There were never stupid questions, and he made sure we knew that. You are taking on a huge responsibility when you’re guiding someone through a yoga practice, including assisting, which was one of the harder things to pick up, is putting your hands on others. He made sure that we practiced on each other so we could provide the safest assist possible. He also went over all different variations of poses to share with yogi’s that are less and more experienced than others. I will continue my education by attending his upcoming teacher trainings just to keep my mind fresh, and to meet and enjoy the community of PYW.” – Samantha C., RYT200, 2015 Graduate
“Power Yoga Works was a wonderful place to receive my yoga certification! As a college student looking for a training program, it’s affordability and flexible schedule was what led me to the program. When I started my training I realized there were so many other reasons PYW was a great choice. It was so hands on that I was able to come out of my shell and start teaching even before I completed my hours. It was a down to earth kind of training that makes everyone who comes out, a confident and skilled instructor.”– Hunter W., RYT200, 2015 Graduate

“I had a great experience in Bill Raup’s 200 Hour Teacher Training, and I would highly recommend it to others thinking about obtaining their 200 Hour Teacher Training. One of the (many) things I particularly appreciated was the experience that Bill brought to each class activity and the discussion around each asana– its benefits, its assists, and its place in the sequence. Bill’s genuine love of yoga, and sharing that love with others, is so apparent! When I think of Bill Raup’s 200 Hour Teacher Training program at Power Yoga Works, two words immediately come to mind: “empowering” and “nurturing”. I felt inspired and challenged every single moment in class, knowing that what I was learning, I was learning to connect more deeply with myself as a yoga teacher and my intentions for the training. Even as I learned the sequences, Bill provided the just the right mix of nurturing, structure, and freedom to let us explore our own intentions through experiencing the sequences– in a safe and effective manner. With this training, I felt very prepared to deepen my practice and my students’ practice.– Christine, RYT200, 2014 Graduate

“For me, this teacher training has been an experience unlike any other! Once I took my first class at Power Yoga Works, I found myself wanting to do more yoga, and know more about it. I was clearing out old tension within my body, I was becoming more grounded and flexible and I was witnessing a shift in my behaviors and perspectives.
The Teacher Training program at Power Yoga Works was the perfect way for me to take my practice to the next level, to learn more about the asanas and the other limbs of yoga, and to consider in earnest the idea of teaching this yoga.
The process of the teacher training course worked well with my life and schedule; there was no pressure, yet I felt there were a multitude of ways to complete the required hours. The content of the learning covered a vast array of subjects; the instruction on teaching asana was clear and allowed hands-on opportunities to practice-teach; when the yoga felt best learned through practice, that option was also there.
The studio itself is comfortable and clean and is a pleasant place to be; the focus here is the practice of Power Yoga; the staff is knowledgeable and your classmates are there to learn and because they love yoga. This program taught me a lot about Power Yoga and about myself, and there is so much more to learn. I am deeply grateful to Power Yoga Works for guiding me on this part of my journey!”

“I am so grateful for the Teacher Training Program provided by Bill Raup and Power Yoga Works. This program gave me the skills necessary to become a confident yoga teacher. Within two months of completing the program, I started teaching two times a week. Since then, I have continued to seek ways to deepen my own practice as well as to hone my skills as a teacher of this amazing style of yoga. One of the things I really loved about the Teacher Training Program was the convenience of the weekend schedule and the flexibility to complete the program by attending future trainings if necessary. I also felt the degree of practice teaching and the real time feedback provided by Bill and the other participants were a tremendous benefit. Not only did I obtain the technical knowledge needed to teach, including a greater understanding of the asanas and the principles of alignment, but I was also able to find my voice and teach with confidence.
