Catie was brought to yoga in 2014 when she was completing her college application process. She began going to yoga with family members as a teen and continues to build her own practice into her adult years. Yoga started as her workout, but it was not long before she began to experience yoga’s undeniable ability to quiet her mind and boost her spirits. Soon after she was hooked – yoga became her rock and gave her the confidence and space to express herself. Now, she could never imagine a life without it.
Catie recently graduated from West Chester University with a degree in English Literature and Secondary Education. Her teaching journey began in 2016 when she received her certification in Children’s Yoga through Childlite Yoga with hopes to share mindful living with her future English students. Later that same year she received her 200-hour from PYW. Catie’s class is energetic, empowering, and most of all fun! Her philosophy of yoga is rooted in reconnecting with our own inner-child through playfulness, love, and movement.
