This 4-Week Workshop is designed to introduce beginners to power yoga or give existing practitioners a refresher course. This is a great way to build your confidence and your yoga practice from the ground up. We will focus on alignment, modifications, names of postures, and how to use blocks & straps.
This workshop breaks down the traditional progression of Power Vinyasa Yoga. Each week builds upon the previous.
Week 1: Vinyasa movements, (including drishti, breath & bandhas), True North Alignment, Themes of Baptiste Yoga
Week 2: Sun Salutations and Balancing Postures
Week 3: Standing Postures, Backbends and Stability Postures
Week 4: Seated Postures and Closing Postures
Classes will be lightly heated.

Cost: $60*, $14 drop-in**
*The workshop cost includes: 4-Week Workshop classes plus 4 BONUS classes to be used anytime throughout 4-Week Workshop. We offer a Beginner Class on Saturday morning that is a perfect complement to this workshop. All classes will expire 4/20/19.
**Please note class packages will not be accepted as payment for this workshop.
What to Bring: a yoga mat (rental mats available), water, and hand towel
What to Wear: comfortable clothing that will allow you to move freely
Age: 15 and up; under 18 must have parent or guardian sign waiver
