“For me, this teacher training has been an experience unlike any other! Once I took my first class at Power Yoga Works, I found myself wanting to do more yoga, and know more about it. I was clearing out old tension within my body, I was becoming more grounded and flexible and I was witnessing a shift in my behaviors and perspectives.
The Teacher Training program at Power Yoga Works was the perfect way for me to take my practice to the next level, to learn more about the asanas and the other limbs of yoga, and to consider in earnest the idea of teaching this yoga.
The process of the teacher training course worked well with my life and schedule; there was no pressure, yet I felt there were a multitude of ways to complete the required hours. The content of the learning covered a vast array of subjects; the instruction on teaching asana was clear and allowed hands-on opportunities to practice-teach; when the yoga felt best learned through practice, that option was also there.
The studio itself is comfortable and clean and is a pleasant place to be; the focus here is the practice of Power Yoga; the staff is knowledgeable and your classmates are there to learn and because they love yoga. This program taught me a lot about Power Yoga and about myself, and there is so much more to learn. I am deeply grateful to Power Yoga Works for guiding me on this part of my journey!”
- Piera C. RYT200
“Thank you so much for getting my certificate out to me so quickly. I am so pleased! Power Yoga Works has been a great experience all around. I plan on coming to some more of your teacher trainings, for continuing education but also because I just miss your classes! I’m also hoping to go for the new 500 hour training you’ve got going on at some point as well”

“I am so grateful for the Teacher Training Program provided by Bill Raup and Power Yoga Works. This program gave me the skills necessary to become a confident yoga teacher. Within two months of completing the program, I started teaching two times a week. Since then, I have continued to seek ways to deepen my own practice as well as to hone my skills as a teacher of this amazing style of yoga. One of the things I really loved about the Teacher Training Program was the convenience of the weekend schedule and the flexibility to complete the program by attending future trainings if necessary. I also felt the degree of practice teaching and the real time feedback provided by Bill and the other participants were a tremendous benefit. Not only did I obtain the technical knowledge needed to teach, including a greater understanding of the asanas and the principles of alignment, but I was also able to find my voice and teach with confidence. Completing this Teacher Training Program has really opened the door for me to try something new, and I am now able to share this life changing practice with others. Much thanks and gratitude to Bill for sharing his passion and expertise and for helping to grow the yoga community!

“The teacher training program at PYW was one of the most positive experiences in my life. I have a better understanding of every aspect of what it means to be a “Yoga Teacher”. Bill Raup provided a comfortable, structured environment for learning that allowed me to take my teaching to a whole new level. And the support did not end when the classes ended, Bill as well as the rest of the staff at Power Yoga Works have been there to answer my questions and support my continued growth as a Yoga Teacher.”
- Janice T. RYT200
“It has been a while since I’ve written and I wanted to email as you deserve a long overdue thank you. I really want to take this opportunity to recognize you for all the work you do and your commitment to creating an amazing studio and training program.
I’ve since relocated to the Greater Boston area and I am so present to all the opportunities I have–yoga and otherwise–and I know I have you to thank for helping me change my perception and view life with a renewed confidence.”
- Megan M. RYT200
“The teacher training at Power Yoga Works has been an amazing experience. Each week, Bill provides honest & supportive feedback in a positive environment. Not only did I deepen my practice & gain a better understanding of the flow, I have gained the confidence to share it with others. The weekend schedule was perfect since I have a full-time job during the week. It’s also good to know that even though I’ve completed this training session, I can always come back to future teacher training sessions to continue to grow. I’m forever grateful, thanks Bill!”
- Kristine G. RYT200
“Power Yoga Works has helped me deepen my yoga practice. I just completed the Yoga Teacher Training program offered by Bill Raup and I am looking forward to starting my yoga teaching. The flexible weekend training program worked well with my busy family life. The studio is located close to University of Penn and Drexel’s campus and was a very accessible for travel to and from New Jersey. Parking was available. Even though we have attended the 7 weekend training classes, Bill does not close the door to you as a student, he encourages you to come back and continue the learning process. He gives you all the tools to be a successful teacher and helps build the confidence to achieve that success. I left training yesterday knowing that Power Yoga Works is always there to help me refine my practice and teaching skills. Thank you Bill!”
- Lisa D. RYT200
“I came to Power Yoga Work’s teacher training with only one month of yoga practice. During the months that followed, Bill and his team empowered me with the knowledge, technical skills and passion necessary to start teaching. Immediately upon graduating from Bill’s training, I was offered a teaching opportunity at a top Manhattan yoga studio. I am now a registered yoga teacher, teaching power yoga 3x’s per week. Bill’s teacher training helped me jump start an awakened dream. His humor, technical skills, professionalism and compassion made my training a transformational experience. If you want to become an awakened, energized and inspiring teacher, then Power Yoga Work’s teacher training is a must.”

“The teacher training program at Power Yoga Works has opened up endless number of doors for me. I have experienced a personal growth that I knew was possible, but didn’t know how to access it. I have found more comfort in myself as a student and as a teacher. I found in my practice that my fears are only in my head and with time and patience I can overcome them. More importantly the teacher training program has given me the ability to help others. I have always wanted find a way to make the world we live in a better place. By teaching yoga I am able to bring happiness, peace, and faith in oneself to my students. I was able to complete my training knowing that I received the best possible teaching in the area. “Thank you for a wonderful Teacher Training program. You created an environment were it felt comfortable to go through the process of learning to teach. I remember when I first spoke with you about the program you said that when the course was completed I’d be able to teach. I had never taught before and quite frankly I wasn’t sure I could really do it, but thanks to your program I am teaching! I draw from the suggestions and ideas that I received from you, your staff and my fellow students. What a wonderful way to learn. You have a wealth of knowledge and experience and I appreciate your sharing that with all of us in the class!”
“I am a single working mother of two and I appreciate the flexibility your program allowed. It wasn’t always easy finding the time to fulfill the requirements, but you never made me feel pressured to finish.”
“I had a lot of fun and met some of the nicest people. In fact many of my teaching opportunities have come about because of the connections made through PYW. We all keep each other in mind when we hear of openings. I am amazed at the number of teaching opportunities available! I am so glad I enrolled in the PYW Teacher Training Program. I not only learned how to teach but I also deepened my own practice! I have the confidence to teach anywhere! Thank You!”
– Marianne C. RYT200
“Teacher training was a great experience. I learned so much about my own practice as well as how to share my love of yoga with others. I’ve been teaching part time since we finished training, and it’s a great feeling to be able to see my students developing that same love. I’m very grateful for the experience!”
